The BC Epilepsy Society offers people the opportunity to volunteer in a variety of roles.
Board of Directors
At our Annual General Meeting each March, our membership elects new Board members who can best serve the strategic needs of our Society. Candidates’ expertise may include financial management, fund raising, marketing, communications, event management, government relations, or an understanding of epilepsy.

Professional Advisory Committee
The Professional Advisory Committee is comprised of medical and social work experts who help our staff develop and update resource materials, as well as advise on medical and social services issues of importance to the Society and its stakeholders.

Program Delivery and Event Volunteers
Society staff occasionally needs the help of program delivery and event volunteers in a variety of capacities. This includes assistance with fund raising events, media relations, office administration, graphic design, support groups, our lecture series, or the delivery of programs such as Partners in Teaching.
