Our primary goal is to deliver an accessible, reliable resource for epilepsy-related information. Whether you'd like to learn about issues, such as medical assessments, driving, employment, or parenting, are seeking information for caregivers and teachers, or would just like to learn the facts about epilepsy itself, we aim to answer your questions here.
The BC Epilepsy Society produces and distributes materials on a variety of epilepsy-related subjects. This includes: epilepsy facts and seizure first aid, assessment and treatment, living with epilepsy, epilepsy and school, epilepsy and employment, financial support, children and youth with epilepsy, women with epilepsy, pregnancy and epilepsy, men with epilepsy, seniors with epilepsy, and additional topics.
A variety of DVDs and videos on epilepsy related topics are available. This includes DVDs for children, teachers, and general audiences.
Our Dr. Norman Auckland Resource Library has books, magazines, and DVDs available for loan.

We've created other resources through the expertise of the volunteers on our Professional Advisory Committee. They include a seizure first aid wallet card and an epilepsy information brochure that's been placed in every Pharmasave drugstore across Canada. If you have suggestions for other resources that would be valuable to you or your family members living with epilepsy, please contact our Executive Director at laari@bcepilepsy.com. We welcome your questions and feedback.
