Artist Shares his History with Epilepsy

As a child of a parent with epilepsy, Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Joshua Wood has a unique narrative about what it’s like to grow up with epilepsy in the family.  In our exclusive video with Joshua, he details why it is so important to raise awareness and eliminate the stigma associated with epilepsy and mental health and to ensure that there are supports like BC Epilepsy Society to help families such as his.

Joshua is an incredibly talented performer – in this short video, he shows his skills, his heart and shares his message through his song writing and music.  Joshua is signed to a record label entitled, Mighty Speck.  Mighty Speck Records is a community label that believes in contributing positively to their communities and subsequently, all signed performers have a mandate or cause that they support.  Joshua has chosen to be a voice for epilepsy and an advocate for change so that families who experience similar circumstances can recieve the help and resources that they need.

Joshua is currently on tour across Canada from August to September 2018. To listen to his music or find out more information about Joshua Wood, visit joshuawoodmusic.com or go to his Facebook page.
