Speaking of Epilepsy Lecture Series
On Tuesday, January 15th, the BC Epilepsy Society will be hosting a lecture on, "Women and Epilepsy". Dr Tiffany Townsend, a neurologist from Vancouver General Hospital, will be speaking about the unique issues facing women and girls as they live with seizures throughout their life cycle. The lecture will take place between 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Chan Auditorium in the Children's and Women's Health Centre of BC at 4480 Oak Street, at 28th Avenue. Kids With Epilepsy Go To Camp!
The BC Epilepsy Society is pleased to announce our new partnership with Easter Seals Camps. The BC Lions Society operates three Easter Seals camps in various regions of BC for children and youth. These camps feature safe and fun activities designed to build confidence, independence, and peer interaction in a recreational environment.
Camp dates for 2008 are listed at www.lionsbc.ca Registration is on a first-come first-serve basis. Applications will be available on Monday, April 7th and the medical forms are available at the beginning of March. The camps are free of charge and the BC Epilepsy Society will be offering a travel subsidy to families who require it. For more information, contact the BC Epilepsy Society office at 604-875-6704.

Donate Securities and Increase Your Tax Benefits
When you donate shares, bonds, and mutual funds directly to the BC Epilepsy Society, you will receive a tax receipt for the Fair Market Value of your gift.
